SpectatorsThe Championships will see athletes competing in three separate disciplines; mountain races, a 100km road race and a 24-hour race. Each discipline will test athletes to their limits of speed, endurance and mental strength. Spectators can expect fast-paced action in the most beautiful locations - after all, who can resist autumn in the English Lake District? The mountain courses lie close to easy-access parking and viewing locations where you can see for yourself the fitness and commitment necessary to take part in these events at the highest level. And for those who love walking, why not combine a day on the hill with catching the finish of the up-only mountain race? Road races will also have organised parking and viewing facilities in the most beautiful locations, while the 24 hour race is conveniently held in the centre of Keswick at Fitz Park. There’s plenty for families and children too, with the Festival of Sport and lots of other attractions.
